THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN SCOTLAND

The Personal Ordinariate
of Our Lady of Walsingham

promoting the unity of all Christians with the Apostolic See

Welcome to the Personal Ordinariate in Scotland

Our part of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham is here for people
in Scotland, especially Scottish Episcopalians, who are seeking Full Communion
with the Catholic Church ... however, you don't have to be either Catholic,
Episcopalian or Anglican to receive the warm welcome which awaits you.

The Ordinariate was established in 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI
to allow Anglicans to enter into the full communion of the
Catholic Church while retaining much of their
Anglican heritage and traditions.

We exist to promote the unity of all Christians with the Apostolic See,
and to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
through the rich treasures of the tradition we bring with us.
