Companions of the Ordinariate

In the North of Scotland we have become aware of a number of Presbyterians who value the Rites Ordinariate, but are unable to join as Members or Associates.

Being a Companion of the Ordinariate in the North of Scotland is a way for members of other Trinitarian Churches to show their support for the Ordinariate here.

This is an invitation to members of other Trinitarian Churches to share in the life of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in the North of Scotland

Being a Companion of the Ordinariate in the North of Scotland is a way of showing support for the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, and sharing in its aims and worship. It is open to adult members of other Trinitarian Churches, and especially our many Presbyterian friends.

The Ordinariates are bidden to become:

families of charity and peace, working in service of the poor,
centres for Christian unity and reconciliation,
communities which welcome and evangelize, teaching the Faith in all its fullness,
celebrating the liturgy and sacraments with prayerful reverence
and maintaining a distinctive patrimony of Christian faith and culture.

Becoming a Companion of the Ordinariate is a way of more closely identifying with the life and mission of the Ordinariate, by way of support, both in prayer and in many other ways. In particular, Companions will be kept informed of the Ordinariate’s activities in the North of Scotland.

There is no charge for becoming a Companion, but we hope those Companions might consider supporting the Ordinariate financially. You may wish to enclose a donation with form or in another way. Your support is appreciated.

If you are a UK tax payer, we invite you to complete the Gift Aid declaration.
