THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in Scotland
under the patronage of Saint John Henry Newman
The Ordinariate in Inverness

The Ordinariate Mass is at 11am on Sunday
and mid-week at 11.15am (see below for times this week)
in the Oratory of Saint Joseph in the back garden of
49 Laurel Avenue, Inverness IV3 5RR.

For several years our Sunday Mass was in the Royal Northern
Infirmary Chapel on the banks of the River Ness, but restrictions imposed by Highland Health Board forbidding the use of candles and incense, meant it was time to move. The Oratory chapel is small and intimate but meets our needs as a special place for Holy Mass.

The Oratory of St Joseph is a 15 minute walk from the city centre
on the other side of the River Ness at 49 Laurel Avenue in the
Dalneigh area of the city where there is unrestricted parking.

Refreshment are served in the garden after Mass, weather permitting,
or in the house. Mass is also celebrated here on week days.

We are a small and welcoming community who appreciate celebrating
Holy Mass in a more traditional manner according to Divine Worship:
The Missal, the Ordinariate rite, and assure you of a warm welcoming.
